I am a Civil Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Water Resources and Engineering Management. In June 2019 I joined Tractebel Engineering GmbH’s water division as a Young Professional.
I have since been doing hydrological assessments for different projects in Africa and Asia. So far, these experiences allowed me to understand water management and regulations in different countries and learn about the economic and social impacts our projects have.
One of my main interests is how to make the projects resilient to climate change, which has already started to have impacts in water availability and energy production around the world. This is an important topic for existing and new projects due to the uncertainty we have for the future. For this, engineers and stakeholders must provide innovative solutions for adaptation to new climate scenarios.
